TV EXPLORER II+
The TV EXPLORER is a specially designed instrument to aide the installation, maintenance and surveillance of terrestrial, satellite and cable TV systems.
The main difference between this instrument and all instruments available before is that the TV Explorer is easier to use. It can detect the type of signal, standard, modulation type, symbol rate… and just display the results. In other words, it does not require any preliminary information about the signals to be analyzed.
The TV EXPLORER has set new standards in the way installers make and understand measurements. It includes an impressive new range of functions developed to easy measurements and to detect impairments in both digital and analog systems. With the TV EXPLORER 2's increased storage capacity, it is possible to take measurements automatically, to store the results and print reports.
Highlights:
- Coverage of satellite DVB-S and 8PSK, cable, Moblie, and analog television.
- Tuning by channel and frequency (IF or direct in the case of satellite)
- Automatic Channel search with the possibility to create channel plans for each new session.
- Fully automatic identification of digital & analog signals.
- Constellation Diagramming
- Capable of creating and comparing 'stored sessions' to decrease measuring times.
- Multi-standard analog measurements: Level, Video-Audio, C/N.
- Digital measurements: Power, C/N, Channel Identification.
- COFDM 2k/8k: MER, VBER, CBER, Noise margins
- QPSK: CBER, VBER, MER, Noise margins
- DVB-H: MER, CBER, VBER, Noise margins
- 8PSK: MER, CBER, LBER
- QAM 16/32/64/128/256: BER, MER.
- Simultaneous display of all the measurements and main associated paraMETERS.
- MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 decoding.
- Transflective 6.5" (16:9 aspect ratio) LCD screen
- PKTools Software included
- Large Storage capacity
