HCU 1500
Acterna's RPM2000 module is an eight-port, high-speed return path spectrum analyzer optimized for the noise and ingress analysis and monitoring functions of the PathTrak Return Path Monitoring System. Each of the eight ports is an independent, isolated test port. The RPM2000 module switches automatically between the eight ports and measures spectrum performance on each. The measurement settings include: resolution bandwidth, video bandwidth, dwell time, span, marker control, max hold, min hold, peak search, etc.
Distinguishing Features: Fast scanning, flexible programming and scalability are all distinguishing features of the RPM2000. In monitoring mode, the measurement speed at 300 kHz resolution, monitoring all eight ports, reaches five times per second for each port. In addition, users can program each of the RPM2000's eight ports with different measurement plans. Because the monitoring modules are VME-based cards that mount into a modular HCU control chassis (HCU400 or HCU1500), users can add more modules as their number of required test points increases.
